René dePont Christensen, <rdp@imada.sdu.dk> , studied controlled algebraic and geometric topology.  His thesis Elements of Monoidally Controlled Algebraic Topology and Simple Homotopy Theory    was defended  June 22, 2001.
Jessica M. H. G. Carter  (Main advisor: Stig Andur Pedersen, RUC,  I was a co-advisor) defended her thesis Ontology and Mathematical Practice November, 2002.
