Announcement 1:
If you were not in class when the notes concerning on-line algorithms were passed out, you can find them on the WWW at:

They were written by Susanne Albers and are entitled "Comptetive Online Algorithms".
I currently expect to be covering sections 1, 2, 8.1, and 9.
Announcement 2:
The exam will be on January 27. There is a sign-up sheet in the secretaries' office ready for your name. :-)
Announcement 3:
I would like to hold a question session, to answer any questions you have concerning the exam. It will be Tuesday, January 11, 13:30 in the seminar room. Well, there wasn't a big turn-out. If you have any questions, please stop by my office. If I'm not in, send me e-mail.
