International Relations

The faculty members associated with the research training program have strong national and international relations and contacts. This includes having coauthors from many parts of the world and frequently attending and presenting material at well-respected international peer-reviewed conferences. Here we only list some of the more official international relations.

Ph.D. Student Change of Environment

We require that our Ph.D. students spend a significant part of their Ph.D. study period (typically 6 months) at another institution. The purpose of this is for the student to be exposed to more than one research environment, more than one advisor, and to get a start building up own research contacts. To ensure quality advising, students are often sent to close contacts of the members of the school.
