More on the E/R-model. The relational model. Transfer from E/R-model to relational model. Relational algebra.

Reading

Ramakrishnan and Gehrke: Sections 2.4 to 2.6. Most of Chapter 3. Sections 4.1-2. Note: we will not focus on SQL yet (contrary to the textbook).
