Relations
The faculty members associated with the research training program have strong national and international relations and contacts.Nationally, this includes mutually serving as external examiners for the other Danish institutions at all levels, including Ph.D. courses as well as MS and Ph.D. defenses.
Internationally, our members serve on Ph.D. evaluation committees, program committees, editorial boards, research council evaluation committees, job assessment committees, participate or lead joint international grants, and receive invitations for research visits to prestigious international institutions.
Research councils that rely on our expertise include the Czech Academy of Sciences, the French National Research Agency, the German Research Foundation, the Israel Science Foundation, the National Science Centre, Poland, and the Swiss National Science Foundation.
Members of research training program are recruited internationally in open competition. In addition, our faculty members are often invited to semester-long research visits to institutions such as Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon (France), Stanford University (U.S.A.), Université Grenoble (France), Université Paris Sud (France), University of Bergen (Norway), University of California (U.S.A.), University of Toronto (Canada), University of Waterloo (Canada), University of Wisconsin, Madison (U.S.A.), and many others.
Our members are also seeked out by industry and have been involved in collaborations with major international IT players as well as specialized Danish and international cooperations.
